What it does
Encrypted Album gives you a secure, on-device vault for the photos and videos you do not want mixed in with your regular camera roll. Files are encrypted locally using keys derived from your passcode or biometric unlock — the encrypted payload is what gets stored, never the original.
If you choose to back up, your vault syncs across your devices using zero-knowledge encryption. Our servers see nothing but opaque ciphertext. Lose access to your key and the data stays private, even from us.
